Last light, golden California sun,

Soothing surf, silver ocean waters.

Feathered friends gather, celebrating life.

Hearts lift in prayer, on grateful evening wings.

Pajaro Beach in Watsonville is enchanted , especially at sunset.  

Be it the light, the surf or the countless shorebirds, within minutes of arriving there,

I feel unreasonably happy, and swept up in gratitude, for the beautiful world we are given.
