Leonard ~~~ This plein-air painting resulted from an adventure outing with my sister-in law and fellow artist Jennifer Robin to Halfmoon Bay, California during June. We painted in what seemed like a hurricane, with supplies flying all over the place, and Jennifer's pastel painting leaping from the easle and onto a passer-by! The hazards of plein-air painting could easily turn the hardiest souls into "complainer painters"... I guess passion wins out over common sense once more. ~~~ |
