Mission San Antonio de Padua close to Jolon California is surrounded by the most spectacular, untouched landscape (except it also borders Fort Huner Liggett).  In spring, I painted there with an artist friend for a couple days, and we were blessed with an enchanted fairy land of wildflowers.  This meadow is in front of the Mission, and was covered with poppies and lupines.
