Meadows glow with California gold,

Oceans cool with heaven's silver.

Two giants spout spring's joy,

Countless tiny cups serenade their passage.

After a meditation retreat at my favorite hermitage,

this meadow on Pacific Coast Highway One

by Luciavibrating with poppies stopped my heart and car. 

Hastily heisting my everready easle in place,

I was rewarded with whales spouting in the azur waters. 

Talk about a plein-air painter's paradise!
