The umbrella you see peaking out from behind the sand dunes stems from one of my fellow painters. My husband and I lovingly call this wonderful place "birdie beach", because the shorebirds seem to love it as much as we do. Within minutes of arriving here, I feel senselessly happy. If you visit this beach, on a week-day late afternoon, it will likely be just you, the birds, the surf...and whoever is lucky enough to come along ... ~~~ |
